grammar is kool even out of skool.

thanks, grace, for sending this link. look, kids, grammar is a hit! of course, those of us who grew up in the hip 70s & 80s have always known grammar rocks, but it's nice to see others know it now, too. my personal favorite? lolly and the adverbs.

The kids in the 80s were so celebrity obsessed after that tune was written about me that I had to change my name to Lollie.

Awesome.

Maybe it's my political nature, but I always enjoyed the "I'm just a bill" tune. And there's something Dylanesque and pleasing about "Conjunction Junction." Can't you just hear Bob mumbling, "My name is And, can you guess what I am?"

hmm. on my 21st bday, i went to a bob dylan concert. i was in college. it was the thing to do. the boy who took me was from spain. he wore leather pants and it worked. anyway, bob dylan was having one of his 'off' nights. no one could understand a word he sang. i actually fell asleep. of course, i'd been up drinking since 12:01 a.m., but still!

oddly, though, cK, i CAN hear him singing "Conjunction Junction."

weird.
