You have to admit that she's right: Why can't we all just get along, y'know? We can all just hope that in 5 years, she'll look back on this time in her life and realize that it's not all "pain" and "sad." She'll be totally horrified when her mother shows her first serious college boyfriend the pictures of her at 15, and he'll laugh and say they're cute, and she'll smile and yank them out of his hand, and he'll post them to the Internet where they can all have a good time with her former misery. But for now, dead birds do suck! And so does that squirrel that totally ended himself under my back tire the other day. So there. There's my snark.
Comment part two: Now that we watch again, I do have to giggle at how sincere she is at the fact that birds are dying (!). And at the revelation that she's sensitive. That's one of those things we call "common knowlege" in the field of plagiarism and citation. But it's not a mean giggle. Fer real.
Okay, part three: It is sad though that she's obviously still so concerned with what other people think about her. The whole video is proof that she really does understand pain and sadness, but who needs to prove that? Who doesn't understand pain and sadness? And what sort of asshole questions another person's perceptions of pain and sadness? The point of the story: This girl should disable comments on her blog. Point number 2: Maybe she could try proving that she understands elation and happiness. Those are pretty cool too, I think.
